Irada is a studio for new social forms.

We design art, research, and strategy that help people stay connected and clear-headed in an age of AI and broken institutions.

Irada is the studio of Amar C. Bakshi, an artist and entrepreneur working at the intersection of media, democracy, and human connection. Through installations, convenings, and advisory work, Irada helps institutions and communities experiment with better ways of being together – online, offline, and in the spaces in between.

What We Do

Irada sits between an art studio, a research lab, and a strategic advisory. The common thread: building concrete practices and spaces where people can meet across difference, make sense of rapid change, and act together.

  1. Art & Installations

We create immersive artworks and public installations that turn media and data into lived, shared experience. These projects invite people to step into each other’s worlds, confront the forces shaping attention and identity, and rehearse new ways of relating.

  2. Social Architecture & Research

We investigate how social spaces are built – from platforms and workplaces to civic and spiritual life – and how they can be redesigned for belonging, pluralism, and mental health. This includes field-building work, prototyping new “social forms,” and research on how AI is reshaping public life.

  3. Advisory & Strategic Collaborations

We work with companies, philanthropies, and public institutions facing the human side of AI and media disruption. Irada helps leaders diagnose the real social dynamics at play and co-design interventions – from convenings and labs to internal programs and installations.
